Our New Zealand Travels

March update

Hi all,

This weekend we're just hanging around the house, doing some frisbee training and making kimchi. We've been pretty busy lately and we'll be pretty busy again very soon.

Coming up in two weekends time is New Zealand's Ultimate Championships (Nationals) which we are both playing. Alex will be playing for Zodiac and I am playing with Groot. It is held in Wellington and we've decided to stay an extra day (on Monday) to look around the city.

We have been contemplating a trip to Rotorua, but haven't decided whether we will do it before of after Nationals. Also on our list is the Tongariro Alpine Crossing (a 20km hike past Mt Doom from Lord of the Rings). This is said to be one of the best hikes (tramps) in New Zealand.
